    Den Videobanner könnt ich ja irgendwie schick auf die Startseite einbinden oder unterhalb der Navi ausschliesslich für Gäste. Registrierte members bekommen den dann nicht zu sehen.

    Es würde mich wundern, wenn worldest ein grammatikalisch korrekter Ausdruck wäre. Der Annex -est hebt ein adjektiv aus der Grundform in den Superlativ. Also die höchste Steigerung eines Adjektivs.
    Da der Begriff world aber ein Nomen (Sach-Wort ist :)) ist, kann ich mir kaum vorstellen, dass man daraus irgendein Superlativ bilden kann.
    Zwar hat ne kurze Begriffsgoogelei ein paar Treffer ausgespukt, wo es in der Form verwendet wurde, aber ich bezweifle trotzdem stark, dass diese Schreibweise korrekt ist.

    Die dritte Zeile hört sich dann an, als wären wir stolz darauf, von X-Sim kontrolliert zu werden. Also meinen Sim kontrolliert sie ja schon, aber bestimmt (noch) nicht mich :brows:

    Abgesehen davon hört es sich imho zu prollig an...also lass lieber weg.

    Die Platform ist auch Nonsens. Die Software ist universell. Eine Platform im Logo wäre dagegen zu speziell imho. Abgesehen davon, wer XSim nicht kennt, sieht in den Stelzen nur ein paar Gipsbetonpfeiler, von denen ein paar umgefallen sind :brows:

    Häng dich besser nicht an google hits. Das Netz ist voll mit Legasthenikern, und Leuten mit begrenzten Fremdsprachenkenntnissen. Einer schreibts falsch hin, und 13,9 Millionen schreiben es falsch nach, weils nen google hit auf das Wort gab :brows:

    New layout for simracing and builders community:
    (When you open the pictures, press the upper right button for maximize picture to see it in full quality.)

    Don´t care about the navgigation entrys...they are from another project of mine, they will be changed, of course, its just about the design issue.

    We could use instead the formula 1 car in the header for the builders community another picture, but i think it fits for both purposes. I tried some aircraft pictures besides, but a mixture of them didnt look good in my opinion. ..Absolutely not for a racing community, but when you demand on it i´ll do more tries for a suitable header.

    Actually its crystalized out that most of the x-sim members uses race sims....

    Honestly i cannot decide for the color of the navigation so i will make a poll later, except all of you decide for the same color :)

    So please let me know what you think.

    I find the first one (grey bar) most attractive. And the picture is great, although it might mislead some flight simulator users that we only support racing simulators...

    Mir gefällt der Erste auch besser. Die blaue Navi stört irgendwie das Gesamtbild.
    Ob sich ein Interessent für einen FluSi vom Bild nur mit Rennwagen abschrecken lässt??? Ich glaube eher nicht. Ich kam zu X-Sim durch googeln nach einer Software/einem Plugin für den MS-FlightSimulator und eines der ersten Ergebnisse (und das Erfolgversprechendste) war die Seite hier ;)

    Da stimme ich Dir zu. Deshalb bin ich auch dagegen.

    Die Videobar ist bisher noch am besten.

    Dein racesim schließt die Flusis aus. Der jetztige Forumtitel ist besser.

    Der brushed metal Hintergrund dagegen gefällt mir ansich.

    Bitte keine zusätzlichen Schriftzüge und Banderolen, oder wie diese komischen Streifen heißen, in den Header. Finde die on/offline Streifen schon fast zu aufdringlich. Fände es besser wenn das Kurzprofile in der Breite wieder schrumpfen würde. Dann bleibt mehr Platz fürs wichtige...für die Beiträge.

    Thanos, well phrased what i thought when i designed it initially! Today i ´ve read that users decide in the first 8seconds when they visit a new website if they stay longer or leave it. Even when Kruemel searched for MS Flight and fortunately registered here, surely not every user has such a keen perception. :)

    I would love it to have permission to use the brands of FSX, rFactor, LFS etc. in the header. That could solve that issue...but doing without it is a hot potato, even for a non commercial site.

    Too bad, that MS das Entwicklerteam rausgeschmissen hat. Bin gespannt wie es in der Zukunft mit dem FS weitergeht.

    Think its better to make a neutral header for the builder and a racesim banner for the Team X-Sim forum and one for the league system when its integrated. So we got no mismatch and false understanding of the site content and i can riot without consideration :lol:

    Btw. Ego, the Avater column is not wider as before...that´s a optical illusion as i did a right grey border to separat the avatar from content. I can try to make the col fewer wide.

    Yes, the on/offline images are not very clean i will change them into common little signs on top or beneath the avatar images.

    Das Kurzprofil war schmaler, als die Banderole noch über das Avatarbild ging. Was ich aber abgesehen davon auch sehr bescheiden fand.

    Wie wäre es mit einem waagerechtem Streifen unterhalb des Avatarbildes?

    Wenn du aus der Users local time das Datum rausnimmst, und aus der Registrationsinfo noch die Uhrzeit rausnimmst, wird das Kurzprofil wieder schön schlank. Optimal ist die Breite des Avatarbildes.
    Der vertikale Grenzstreifen gefällt mir.

    OT: Die Kategoriebildchen sind auch nicht so mein Geschmack. Es lassen sich halt auch keine Bilder finden, die allen ansprüchen gerecht werden. Die zwei Autos schließen halt auch wieder die Flusis und Biker aus...

    Genau das habe ich gemeint.

    Leider nicht, werde mich mit dem css auseinandersetzen müssen...sind ein paar floats mit prozentualen angaben drin...zieh mal das fenster auf und machs ganz klein, dann siehst du wie´s skaliert.

    Das ist auch gut so...soll nur ein reines racing forum für rfactor sein. Wenn leute dazukommen, die eine Bike oder Flusi league aufmachen wollen, können wir einduweiteres Forum eröffnen. Bin mittlerweile von den Bildern angetan...das Auge fängt schneller das gewünschte Forum. Man könnt das Bild natürlich kleiner machen, dann würde man aber nicht mehr viel erkennen. Paar pixel gehen vielleicht noch. Lass es mal für nen paar wichtige Foren versuchen schicke Pics zu finden (alle in der gleichen Grösse natürlich). Vielleicht änderst Du deine Meinung*hoff* grins
