Do you have SimTools Game Engine and Manager running while trying to register, if so then shut them down.

Can you please confirm what version of SimTools you have?

The early 2.0 version had a registration connection issue but that was resolved with an update.

Hello friends. I downloaded the latest version of simtools. And it's in demo version. That is why when I want to load the plugins I get a poster that says "files installed! - Installation Complete" But once I enter "Game Manaller" the plugin has not been installed. Is it because I have to buy the license or it is a problem of my computer? From already thank you very much. Greetings to all!!

Hola amigos.

The demo mode of SimTools 2 includes the fully functional plugin for Live For Speed, specifically for testing purposes. No other plugin will load in demo mode.

Conditions apply but if you qualify you can get a coupon to download SimTools DIY licenced version for free, see here for details: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/request-a-free-diy-simtools-2-0-license.262/

I had a similar issue, set the firewall to allow the program, still "no internet".
My fix, I right clicked on the register program in the windows menu and chose "run as administrator" and it worked. (I only have the one user on my computer but this worked for me)

After the windows update occurred today, Simtools stopped working. It started to present a message that there was a problem with the license and asked to register again. But when trying to register it is showing an error.
    Windows 10 pro.

I've already tried several solutions without success:
    - Removed the latest update from windows Update,
    - Uninstalled and reinstalled p Simtools.
    - I ran a fix indicated in this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135

    - Changed Windows region to United States

Nothing worked. I'm almost formatting Windows.

    Can anyone help please?

I haven't seen any problems with the win update, could be why it didn't work when you rolled back?
    I'll PM you...
