    PluginUpdater does not install War Thunder Plugin 2.0.0.0.
    This is the first time that I am trying to install the WarThunder plugin,
    and although PluginUpdater says things went fine,
    when I run GameManager, WarThunder does not show up in the plugin list.
    I think that I have things set up correctly, because I have had no problems
    installing other plugins, including the very recent
    condor The Competition Soaring Simulator Plugin 2.0.1.1.
    I have taken a look at the Simtools Appdata forWarThunder,
    and I see entries for WarThunder MaxMinProfiles and GameBanneners,
    but no data on WarThunder for GamePathSaves, Profiles, or GamePlugins.
    Thanks for any assistance getting the WarThunder plugin installed.

    Just to be clear, are you saying you closed SimTools, opened the PluginUpdater, installed the WT plugin, closed the PluginUpdater, restarted SimTools and WT does not show in the Game List under Axis Assignments?

    I did just as you said, except that after I closed PluginUpdater, I just started GameManager because I wanted to patch the game, but I could not patch WarThunder because it was not in the GameManager Game Selection List.

    I downloaded the plugin again, and the install still did not work (in the same way as the first time).
    I've had no problems with five other plugin installs, with the most recent success being a Condor plugin install
    on the same day that I've been unsuccessfully trying to install the WarThunder plugin - kind of a mystery - Is there any way for me to try installing, say by copying the plugin ZipFile files to appropriate places?

    First check if there is a balked install and manually remove it from: c:\user\Your_User_Name\AppData\Local\SimTools\GameManager\GamePathSaves

    Which licensed version of SimTools are you using, DIY, Pro or Entertainment?

    I believe that I have a DIY License - I checked that my license key is valid, and when I start up GameManager, it briefly says that a valid license was found and it is not for commercial use. GamePathSaves does not have a WarThunder.cfg file, but there are "WarThunder" files in folders MaxMinProfiles and GameBanners.

    Have you used administrative privileges at any time, like with the PluginUpdater?

    Perhaps @Ville Pesonen or @yobuddy have further ideas as to why the plugin is not installing properly.

    All my WarThunder plugin install attempts used PluginUpdater not using administrative privileges.
    A few days ago, when I first tried installing the Condor plugin (my first plugin install for pretty long while),
    PluginUpdater did have administrator privileges and the Condor plugin install did not install. But after I took off the administrator privileges, the Condor Plugin install went fine. GameManager and GameEngine do have administrator privileges.

    You should not really need admin privileges for SimTools.

    I can't really think of another reason why WT does not install, other than it potentially being corrupted.

    No programs are quarantined, and I even tried turning off my anti virus, but the WarThunder plugin still did not get installed, even though the PluginUpdater said things went fine (the banner and MaxMin files for WarThunder were, however, placed in Simtools AppData). It would be great if there was some way to just manually copy plugin install files to the correct places.

    The problem is your trying to load a SimTools v1 plugin into SimTools v2.

    Take a look at the plugins dll name.
    Its "War_Thunder_Plugin.dll" <- this in SimTools v1 naming convention.
    SimTools V2 naming convention should look like this "War_Thunder_GamePlugin.dll".
    So as you can see the plugin updater is doing what it is suppose to.
