My Sea Flo bilge fans started failing from bearings wearing out - lasted a bit over a year of fairly frequent/heavy use - so I already ordered a new pair.

But this morning I was looking at alternatives and found all of the aftermarket radiator fans. Has anyone tried these? In some of the answered questions, amps on the smaller ones are in the Sea Flo ballpark. Also available in colors.

I ordered one of these just to check them out.

It sure puts out a lot more CFM than a bilge fan so I hope it doesn't put out a lot more noise too. Looks like it could be a little more difficult to mount also depending on your setup. I hope it works out good for you.

Are you going to ask for them to try? With 3d printing you can make the front part with the air straightener, they make noise but not more than the seaflo, although maybe you have a lot of cfm but the air does not have enough speed to 60cm, if you try you will already explain the result

Hey Eric, I looked at these fans but didn’t see an easy path forward. I ended up using TerraBloom axial fans instead. Those are quiet, have been working like a champ, take analog and PWM control inputs, and include their own power supplies. Way better than the bilge fans in my application, and a more compact and slick installation on my rig.
