    Hello fellow dofreality users!
My H3 has arrived recently, delievery was fast and Igor was understanding and quick to respond :)
Once assembled, everything worked fine, so far i got only following issues:
    1. PSU noise, it seems like fans run way too fast, i believe its a common issue as many other users reported it too. Afaik it could be fixed by adding resistors, not sure how, but will look into it later cuz its not that much of an issue.
    2. rear motor (traction loss) squeaking/screeching, either when it moves or simply while PSU is powered. Its really annoying high frequency squeak. Igor said its known arduino problem which could be fixed, although i'm not sure how yet.
    3. Overall jerkiness/stutter of the motion. Since i have yet to balance my platform and refine motion profiles for respective apps, guess it may not be a problem at all.

So i wonder how are other people dealing with these. Any problems with noise or squeaks? Did you manage to reach reasonable smooth movements?

Also, how much of a free movement your rig allows when its fixed in neutral position? Powered or nonpowered. By simply sitting into it, i can "shake" it by 1-2cm, because frame sits on a join which is only held in place by rear motor arm, which allows a little free movement. Is it normal and same for every1?

Also i'm digging into simtools now, since some apps just dont works - like NoLimits 2 gets no input data even after it is patched/respective plugin is added, and project cars 2 kills my simtools game engine by simply starting the patched game. Not sure if these problems are connected with rig or dofreality simtools default settings.

I'm also running into jerky problem and I have no idea how to fix it, I notice some people said they can use filter to smooth it out, but filter option is not avaliable under generic 2D basic setting

The filters will be available if you switch to Generic 2D Standard in the Axis Type.

Hey noorbeast, thanks for the reply

but the problem with going to standard or advance is that all the presets from DOF reality disappear, as all the tuning all gone. what would be the best way to keep the preset while changing to standard from basic?

    thanks

hug:if you want to reduce coller noise you can install 130-150 Ohm, 5 Watt resistor in the collers line, as serial connection on the way of black or red wires

try LFS, it is easy and free game to test all motions.
for jerkiness, have yous checked your Win Locale as per instructions?
have you upgrade SimTools to 2.3?
have you done NL settings from this thread?
    https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...can-anyone-share-me-theirs.11273/#post-146094

collers noise is solvable with the post above. rear motor high pitch is solvable by replacing Arduino UNO with Mega. we just indroduced all this changes to a all upcoming batches

Yeah i did locale thing after i assembled and tested the platform, as Igor advised, and it somewhat helped.
Simtools upgraded. NL thing done (overlooked this one, shame on me) and it worked. Igor was really helpful :)

I already bought resistors and arduino controller for replacement, will try to install it soon (spending additional 22$, sigh).

As for jerkiness, guess i gotta go through motion profile refinement first, there was a separate thread for this iirc.

Still having this weird problem with project cars 2.
If i run the game, it always auto-kills simtools game engine process while starting. And if i start engine after the game, it doesnt detect pcars running = no input and movement.
It only happens with pcars2 and is somewhat similar to the problem described in this thread: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/game-engine-stops-working-while-im-playing.10939 . Except that disabling legacy usb support didnt help me at all.
I did find the way to actually make it work - i start game engine, start game, engine gets killed, i start it again (game in already on), then quit the game and start it again, and sometimes, game engine doesnt get shut down. Idk how and why, but it helps. Once both work at the same time, everything is ok and the chair moves.

for MEGA replacement pls contact sales@dofreality.com. there is a need of new firmware flashing and shortening pin 9 to 8 and 10 to 12 soldering wires on the back of it.
we already open an issue with SimTools support, you need take it with them

    Thank you so much!

What do you think about the buttkicker 2?

Do you think that using transducers and generic amplifier meant for sim is better?

    I live in USA

It is a beauty ! Thank you for sharing !

Do you think the buttkicker is enough?
    Have you tried other solutions?

Now that is one different looking pneumatic G Seat setup - have not seen one like that before - seems like the servo presses on one bladder outside the seat which then transfers the air into another bladder inside the seat. The question would be how does the air get back quickly? Maybe the servo releasing pressure on the outside bladder 'sucks' the air back... :think. Anyway very innovative :thumbs.

    Hi there,
Just ordered a P3 two weeks ago. Igor just confirm me they received this week new motors. They needs to tests them before proceed the shipment.
Waiting my delivery probably end of next week (based in france).
My setup should be almost the same than xxpelle
I just ordered three 43'' LG monitors with Triple monitor instead the VR.

This is my old Transducer System from my first own rig.
    That works perfectly.
The ButtKicker simulates the engine and the gearbox completely enough.
    And is easier to install

In addition, the pedals have vibrators that are controlled by FanaLEDs

I did not know the system yet.
    Definitely cheaper than the buttkicker.
in a non-moving rig, the 4 channel sound is better
with my rig it will be difficult to install everything
