All New - Video Ride Creator (Preview)

Although I have been working on for awhile, until now it has not gotten the love it so desperately needed.
Well that's about to change! :thumbs

With a ton of new features, and a much more user friendly system, the new Video Ride Creator is a snap to use!

The way I see it, there are 3 main ways to make Video Rides for Simulators.

    1) Create a telemetry file from scratch for a pre-existing video.
Take your favorite scene from a movie and create the telemetry file by hand.
Or record new telemetry while watching the video. (in slow speed) ;)
    (Both options should be viable.)

    2) Reformat a purchased Ride Film for SimTools.
You purchase a Video that comes with a text file with all the cueing data for a simulator.
You need to be able to re-order the file and scale it correctly for SimTools.

    3) Sync Video with Telemetry that was recorded live at the same time.
You mount a camera to a car and record Telemetry at 25 captures per sec.
There needs to be a way to sync the files together later.

I’m happy to say that the new Video Ride Creator will satisfy all of these requirements and more.

    Here are some Highlights
    - Undo & Redo Buttons!! (Up to 100 moves - This one was challenging!)
    - Manipulate Multiple ‘Points’ at the Same Time. (You can move 1 to 200 at a time)
    - Live Telemetry Recordings (with sender example source code ready to post!)
    - Telemetry Point Doubling
    - Telemetry Offset
    - Axis Scaling (by slider, by a known max value, or by percent)
    - Axis Shifting
    - Axis Smoothing
    - Axis Flipping
    - Axis Swapping
    - Exact Value Editing
    - Telemetry Importer
    - Axis Zooming
    - All New GUI

knock knock, here is my first message.
what kind of input methods can I use with this app? keyboard, mouse, joystick, xbox controller or any other suggested device?
    Thanks in advance.

Like with movie subtitles, I wonder if there is an online searchable database of movie telemetry ?

+1 using a Xbox/Steam/Oculus controller for recording telemetry.

Does anyone know of posts or link where we could test videos others have made? I'd like to see what everyone else is doing with the software. Thanks

this is just for an update on this I havent seen if anyone is showing where we can find video files that have the data already for testing reasons. I did see someone ask this already but I would also like to know the input methods. This looks really cool since I would be able to make a video then create the motion for the sim. this will really spark some creativity. I would also like to thank the creator

Did you find any? I've searched for hours but can't find anyone with demo's with the cueing data.
