I'm trying to make some bass shakers and need some advice. I would like to mount two of them to my Thrustmaster T3PA Pedals. Not sure if they'll fit inside or they'll neeed to be outside yet, but how would I go about mounting this thing? The big bolt through the middle it's what's throwing me. Does it bolt alone to whatever item you're putting it on? Would it be better to put another piece of wood on top of the bolt and have it attach via the original speaker mounting holes? Basically, what's the best way to attach them to efficiently transmit their movement?

@Blame73 would be a good person to get some advice from, as he made some DIY bass shakers for his rig.

Hi, I built something like that a few years ago (you can find my post in the faq somewhere), then I moved to more powerful professional ones.
Anyway they were working, and I got them mounted this way to my pedals: the pedals were bolted to the wood (1,5 cm width) and the diy bass shaker was bolted below the wood, with the top of the bolt touching the base of the pedals.
Anyway, if you got the chance to test different ways to mount it, like screwing it to the pedals base, you can feel it yourself. Having the pedals vibrating (with road effect) it's a great feeling that adds a lot to the immersion

I mounted them with the bolt connected to the shell as you recommended. Just need to wait for the little stereo amp to show up from Amazon to hook it all up.

I will be driving these and two Dayton Audio Pucks that are attached to my chair with Simhub set to 4 channels corner spatialitation.

One more question, my Dayton Audio Pucks are mounted to a single board that is screwed to my chair. It's great for music as it spreads the vibration a little more evenly, but would it be better for Corner Spatialization for me to mount the pucks on their own individual boards? I feel that the shakers being seperated would give more independence to the left/right effect with less interaction.

ive done the same. ive got simhub and arduino with l298 H bridge and is fantastic.. only draw back is that for full use of simhub a donation is required. i think i donated like 5 dollars and connected it with crew chief to open them in sync. sim hub has the software installed for the arduino . Its a good program. i used my shakers out of a lazyboy chair that had vibrator built in. found on the side of the road. hehe. https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/simhub-diy-sim-racing-dash.10252/ pedal shakers.JPG
