The level of integration is great, looks like you were able to keep the comfort and shape of the seat intact and also get lots of heave. Really nice job, roughly how much travel do you have in the plates?

Limongi, 4" to 5" of heave. The seatbelt pulls as the flaps push, so there is body doesn't jump allover the seat. In other words, what you feel is more than what you can see.

Here Is an update of the seat:

Can anybody point me to where I can find how to control stepper motors with simmtools?
I've seen is a video of a direct drive wheel but what I want is to control a linear actuator 8" travel, sort of a DIY SCN5.

The electrical adjustment and innovation are really cool, well done :thumbs

You can make your own DC linear actuator: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/diy-linear-actuators.248/

If you use the Custom Google search function near the top right of any page and search for 6dof actuator it will bring up linear actuation variations and refinements people have made.

Very nice work! Very clever idea with the extra heave, and the tilt access to the base motors. (They are always a pain to get to!)

Excellent work @alexdixey :thumbs. Somehow I originally missed this when it was originally posted. It's really made my day :).
