Looking to start investing in a flight sim, specifically for VR use. I have Rift & a GTX 1070.

From what I've read, X-Plane 11 has performance issues, especially with VR.

I'm not looking to sink hundreds of $$$ into the software either, which is the better value long-term?

I have both Aerofly is a little better Frame rate wise but overall I like xplane 11 more and since the last update it has got a lot better performance in Vr I think xplane has a demo so might be worth trying that out
    I’m on rift and 980ti
Xplane out the box gives you the whole world to fly over and then you can make your own photo real scenery.
Aerofly out the box only has a tiny amount of the world but it does it very well and will cost a bit to keep adding however you can make your own photo real scenery to
    Hope this helps
