Im going to assume he has access to a Metal fab shop with either a water jet or some form of CNC controlled cutting device.

    Keep it up @Alihan737

Very likely is as you said. but nowadays it's possible to source out original parts "easily" (think to a flight sim with original control panel... avesome!)

Last post from the OP was in June, so with eight years spent to get to were he is today - very much a long term project. IMO I think VR and hand tracking/tactile feedback technologies will make these types of sims obsolete by the time they get around to finishing it.

maybe yes maybe not, in VR you not get the real clear visual and the feel of touch on buttons and stuff. This is for hardcore Simmers:D

Off topic somewhat, but VR hand and finger tracking hits consumers in Q2: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/hi5-vr-glove-with-vive-puck-tracking.9496/

All that is really missing is haptics. Work has started on glove haptics: http://www.roadtovr.com/2-vr-gloves-promising-haptic-feedback-2-different-approaches/

You can even make your own:

What you could do in VR is make real switch panels just for the haptic sense of touching a real world object, you would not need to wire switches up, and dials, screens and the like don't have to be real, as VR overlays them, they just have to be the correct size and location.

I guess the beauty of VR cockpits, sans the haptics, is that you are not locked into just one.

    Google translate -
Hello everyone, I am also building a 737 NG, ready overhead by half, the TQ collect, MIP body only. I'll keep an eye on your project.

You can duel post in your native language as long as you also include an English translation.

We have bi-lingual speakers from many different language groups so if Google Translate really messes it up they can help clarify what was intended.

Hello friends. I haven't been active for a long time, but I must say that my home cockpit work has been going on for a long time. I'm trying to make a very detailed 737 800. Meanwhile, we started to produce these parts. We made our own production flight instruments. I couldn't do motion sim because the cost increased. I am planning a study for vibration and axles.
I wish you all good work.
