For more freedom of movement of the rod ends I use spacers.

    Gelenkkopf.jpg

I built a special screw for the lever to attach the pot to it.
    Spezialschraube.jpg
In addition I drilled a M6 thread into the head of an M8 screw.
    Bau Spezialschraube1.jpg
    Bau Spezialschraube2.jpg
Then I built the driver out of an aluminum square solid material.
On the one hand I have a M6 thread drilled and on the other
a 6 mm hole for the poti shaft.
    Mitnehmer 2.jpg
    Mitnehmer 1.jpg
Drilled across a through hole for a screw and made a saw cut along.
So I can squeeze the driver around the potentiometer shaft

After putting the motion module together and the positions for the brackets are ok for the moment,
I added extra screws for better stability and then I placed and aligned the module on the turnstile.
    Ausrichten.jpg

Then I removed the casterwheels from the turnstile, put it on a plate with a hole for the gas spring
    and mounted the seat.
    Mitte.jpg

After taking seat for a while, I found that the whole thing was a bit too high for me.
In addition, the chair with the large plate underneath is very difficult to move.

So I removed the two spacer plates under the universal joint and replaced them with metal sheets.
    Distanzplatten.jpg
    Gestell 2.jpg

In order to be able to move the chair better, I have removed the plate again
and instead used sliding feet in the holders for the casterwheels.
    Gleiter.jpg
    Gestell 1.jpg

So I can move it better now.:thumbs

Unfortunately, I can not weld because I can no longer work as a mechanic
and I do not know anyone who has a welder. So I glued everything to
    a strong two-component glue.
    Kleber.jpg

I filled the threaded sleeve with the glue and then screwed it onto the motor shaft
and screwed on the lever. Then, from the outside, I gradually applied several layers
of the glue and allowed to harden.
    Verbindungen 1.jpg
    Verbindungen 2.jpg

Unfortunately, because the gears are not self-locking, I still have to think of a way
to fix if I just want to sit.
At the moment I put glasses under it. :grin
    Stützen.jpg

So the trial version is now ready for the first ride.:cheers

That was really fast!:) I got the discount code today. Thanks so much!:thumbs
I then booked a download package and have ever allowed myself a few plugins.
I also wanted to download the plugin for Elite Dangerous, but clicking on the banner

@noorbeast thank you very much but do i have to spent coins
for access to the download area even if I bought a download package? I´ve bought the
    one year package.
In the description that sounds like either or:
You can get them with coins for activity or by purchasing a download package

If you are having problems downloading plugins as a Gold Contributor then our site admin @RaceRay should be able to help getting that sorted.

@ljanen Coins are deducted either way, no matter if you have a download package or not.

No worries, even with negative coins in your account you can still download plugins. So all good.

    Cheers

Do I get you right @Ijanen You can download all plugins except the elite dangerous one?

This should not happen with your account and I can not see any issue with it. Is the error still happening?

Yes @RaceRay I only get the error message when I try to download the plugin for elite.
For the others, I had no problem so far. Yes, the problem still exists.

I've tested the sim for a few hours now and I can say that the glue joints last.
However, it occasionally rolls to the left and only moves back to the middle position
when I unplug the USB plug and insert it again.
Does anyone have any idea why this might be?

It sounds like the motors are struggling under load, try a shorter CTC hole distance on the levers.

Thanks @noorbeast it was a problem with the load
but the lever length was not the problem.
I had not aligned it properly the last time I put it together.
If he moved forward to the left, he put on.
    Now he is running again.:thumbs

    Yeah, finally real internet again.
The move was unfortunately more expensive than expected,
so the upgrade of the simulator will be delayed for some time.
