    Hello !

My dad wants to make his own simulator and we had the idea to put all the electronic and supply inside a box with connector, so that we can plug it on my rig, then unglug and plug it on his rig... It is cost saving for the moment and we won't use our simulator at the same time ( for the moment also ! ) :
    The schematic :

Bonjour! Haha.

Hello! I don't speak much french, but if you speak english then I think I can try to speak (write?) in french. Haha.

I don't want to butcher your language any more so I'll just keep it to english :p

Great looking build; I love the idea of a modular power supply/motor control unit. Very attractive execution as well, though I suspect you'll want to put some ventilation in there (PC fans would suffice).

Hello, fully agree with FargusFaustmeister, it will make a lot of heat confined in a small box, even with ventilation, heat may damage your equipment. be careful.

I have made some tests on LFS, et it's really really cool ! Works perfect !

But I have a problem with Dirt Rally... Surge and sway datas are completly unusable ( often at zero, and sometimes jumps and come back to zero... Seen on Tuning center and also on my rig going mad ^^ ). I've read for hours the forum and tried many many things... An idea ? ;)

Please post pictures of all of your settings.

If you read the thread Dirt Rally can be a bit of a challenge to set up: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/codemasters-dirt-rally-plugin.6823/

And please be aware that PC language settings can affect some plugins, so it is best to use English Local for SimTools, see here for details: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-language-setting-bug-change-to-english-local.233/

    Thank you noorbeast !

Yes I read all the 26 pages of this thread, I made language changes, Full screen, resolution or graphic changes... I'm not the only one so I feel not alone ^^;)

Here are my settings ( hope I missed nothing ) :

    Capture.JPG

    Capture2.JPG

My problem is the same as many : All "G" ( sway, surge and heave ) dof don't work well : Often at zero, even when I brake or accelerate or turn, with little spikes that make my sims shakes ! Not very good ^^

Seems to be a Dirt Rally bug with telemetry but it's strange that it works for some people and not for other...

    @nicopoche

Have you entered the Tuning Center numbers manually or did you do "Capture min/max" first?

The numbers are the default Dirt Rally settings. I tried a capture, but the values are bad for Surge and sway as the incoming datas are completly erratics...

I HIGHLY suggest tuning on something with "Cleaner" telemetry, Aka Not Dirt Rally. Lol

AC, IRacing, *PCars if you have to lol....anything but Codies please.
