I'm waiting for the template files for the plugins to be published. After that I'm going to have a look at making the plugin compatible with the 2.0 version of Simtools. So it's coming, but I do not know exactly when.

When the plugin creation instructions say "Do the same for the pointer structure for speed." The picture is too small to see properly!! :(

    Very frustrating!

I'm brand new to this and this plugin would be only my third to install but it doesn't show up in the patch screen drop down list. The other 2 worked fine.

Can I just check what install sequence you did...like shutdown SimTools Game Engine and Manager -> Open Plugin installer app -> dragged the plugin zip file onto the Plugin installer -> closed the Plugin installer -> restarted SimTools

Did you see any error messages?

What license are you using with SimTools?

Anybody had any success with the dedicated surge axis? Surge works good for the shoulder motors as I can feel gun recoil, etc. But I am having a hard time setting it up on a dedicated surge axis. I will try to bump up smoothing filter and dead zone, currently both ste t about 40%. Thx.

Not many people will have a dedicated surge axis. It may help people give advice if you post a video on your build thread where the rig movement and the game screen can been seen at the same time.

Will it still work for 1.75? These versions are a bit old now. Are you still developing on this project?

It should still work, unless the update changed the names of the values that the dynamic battle map provides. I don't have War Thunder installed at the moment, so I can not say for sure.

I can confirm that motion for the War Thunder plugin still works after the latest game update.

I have just tried it, no luck :
Game patched, game manager launched as admin, I can see the webpage when on a mission, I hear my simulator trying to adjust over the heave effect, which go from 0 to -1, but nothing move on the tuning center.

What do I miss ? Is there some configuration to tick in the confuscating menus ?

As you can see, I have info on the 8111 port, but nothing on the tuning center.
    Game is detected as running.

Well... It seems a trouble in DCS is the same here : it start working ! (But still no luck in DCS, I will retry tomorrow.
I changed the region decimal separator to a dot, instead of a comma.

Now to tweak these values !

What hardware are you using and what arduino code is being used?

Your axis allocations should be around 100% total, yours is like 395% total, which is easy too high.

Ignore my silliness, I was looking at your TC on my phone and meant the values were likely too high, but mixed that up with Axis Allocations.

Does the sim respond correctly in Output Testing: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/which-way-to-set-simtool-axis-movements.230/

If so does Game Manager turn blue when the WT is running and do you then see values in the TC Game Data - Output?

No problem, I am still on the stiff learning curve !

yes, the sim respond correctly in Output Testing, also in game, I have it running successfully on a few games (assetto Corsa, ProjectCars, trackmania turbo).
The Game Manager turn Blue and there is now data flowing un the TC.

I think the culprit was the decimal separator on my region settings. That is not cool, as there is a lot of ripple effects when altering this value, on many other programs.
Anyway, it work, and I have to adjust settings, it was more of a wooble soup than a feeling of what happen on screen !

Try switching to English Local, there is still being research being done on this bug as it only happens on some PCs: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-language-setting-bug-change-to-english-local.233/

And then follow the steps here, especially capturing the TC values: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/
