Can you tell me how to reverse the run of a scn5 worm.
I try with simtools with the orange boxes but it does not work.
There is dyadic software but I can not do it either.
    Yet my id is 0.

    Hi,

The orange boxes in simtools should do the trick !!
I havent used my rig for months..... but i remember me having the same problem for movement direction.

be sure that you run calibration for each game after you have setup simtools.
(this is to determine the min / max values on your specific setup !!)
(do this for each game you run)

    regards,

    Renoboss

Hello, thanks for your job. I need to inverse direction of my SCN6 actuators (apparently not possible with Simexperience software) Inverting PIN4 and PIN2 will do it?
    Thanks for answer

As I understand it, there is actually 2 versions of the SCN floating around.
Some require the ILK to be powered for the actuator to enable.
Some require the ILK to be unpowered.
So it just depends on the type of SCN you have.

    I'm bulding 2dof simulator with 2 SCN5 actuators now.
I wired everything like it's described here. Except I used built in Arduino USB to serial converter and then connected it to rs485 transceivers. I used a digital out of Arduino to manage max485 working mode dynamically and this part is working fine.
When I trying to connect to those actuators using TBVST visual setting tool I got message "Communication error (#0601). Make sure communication port selection and axis number".
I attached a pic with communication timings during connection watched through oscilloscope. Yellow is data sending to actuator and blue is from actuator. It seems like it's fine. I have no idea what I did wrong.
Can anybody help? What else I can do?

Hey there. I'm just putting together a parts order for a SCN5 2DOF build. I've never used a zener diode before... what is its function in the SCN5 power circuit? Do I require a specific wattage?
