@noorbeast I checked MD motors, all the same

i read @Nick Moxley link that you provided, I understand the with welds etc though how do I find the length required for the main shaft?
Is the 160mm enough or should I buy a threaded rod and cut to size
I am working the next few days and will have a look after work to get a rough idea of length

I am trying to have as many "ready made" parts due to living in a unit with no garage or welder

How long the rod will be depends on your design to ensure it clears everything it needs to and allows for the nuts and lever.

Personally I just got a threaded rod length and cut it to the size I wanted.

    Finally some forward motion.
A local welder helper with my frame. I unlocked his inner child so he revised the frame numerous times as more ideas feel into his head
My only considerations was the ability to come apart as I'm in a unit and space is at a premium with lift being the only access to my floor

Some photos attached of the frame

Intend to mount wood for motors to bolt onto.
Also to use my Rseat frame for wheel and pedals until I can find some 8020 aluminum frame pieces

RSeat base is gone and replaced by 8020 frame - very impressed with the solid setup
This fitted on top of my metal frame for motion

I have mounted the motors, attached the arms and now just need the electronics to come together

Hasn't helped that I bought a Vive and that seems to take a little bit of my spare time :cheers

Will update more once electronics are attached and working

After a few weeks of frustrations getting everything into place I've finally had some success

Attached are two videos showing my first movement through the JRK app and following the instructions by @eaorobbie on this link
    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/playseat-to-2-dofseat.5401/page-2#post-56352

Now to start and try to work simtools V2

When this version of motion is complete ;) I can work towards tidying up the power board

... Cant post videos - link to dropbox here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/li2v6tvloyjnfkw/AAAWzoRXVW5HtL9BIiNmNBOva?dl=0

    Looking good!
One piece of advice, After I spent some time on my sim, the Middle lower leg (horizontal) could have been shortened to the extents of the caster "tracks". I was initially worried about the whole rig being top heavy, But mine is no where close to being top heavy. If I where to do it again, I would narrow the whole piece.

@Brett Horton Thanks for the tip.

My other concern was the throw available with the traction arm as it now hits the lower horizontal frame.
I've decided to limit the arm throw and see if that is noticeable (less TL throw) enough whilst in game

Once all is set up I will be happier to fiddle a bit more

    Slowly getting there
Have movement and now setting up motion profile
Was going to post a "major for me" tiny movement with surge in testing and LFS ... Video cant be directly loaded
Will come back soon hopefully with a motion simulator that I am happy with
