I'm trying to find a way to increase force and or the distance movement with my actuators under braking. Under powered cars especially have minimal force movements in both directions but all cars under braking should be more similar in forward actuator force.

I do remember back in the early days, circa 2010, being able to make that kind of adjustment. I don't see any way to split the movement up into 2 the different directions to be able to make the necessary modifications I'm looking for. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance to any and all responses.

I do not know if I have understood it well. Do you want to move more braking, right?
In tunning center you have two values per effect, in this case it is the Surge, the positive value is the acceleration and the negative value the braking. You can put the negative value lower than the positive and thus you get more movement in the braking.
    I hope I've helped.

Here are the steps to creating and refining a motion profile: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

The Axis Assignment values determines how much of the total movement range is available to surge.

The smaller the Tuning Center values the faster and more aggressive the surge moment, but over a smaller movement range, and conversely the larger the Tuning Center values the softer the motion, but over a larger axis range.

Thanks NjMotion........ Yes, I would like more braking movement over acceleration. I see the numbers you referred to in the tuning center but I'm not able to edit the numbers, can only capture them by ingame driving movements. Back in the day you were able to edit the surge movement separately on either side of zero or the center location under axis settings/fine tuning.

This is how to manually edit the TC values: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/tuning-center-entering-manual-values.210/

    Thanks guys!

I was able to manually enter numbers into the surge location in Tuning Center. With a little playing around, experimenting, I was able to enhance the surge numbers to give me more motion under braking.

Thanks again for all the help:cheers....now I only wished I asked a long time ago!:grin

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS

After an afternoon of testing with pcars2. I edited and settled on a Tuning Center Surge Setting of a 2.2 max and -0.99 minimum settings, which gives me a descent acceleration motion with much more braking or forward movement.

Just thought I would share those numbers incase anyone was interested.

are you trying for make a G force effect on braking and accelaration?
