5 point all the way. I had a 3 point harness and it kept riding up the seat.

With a 5 point, both your legs and arms get tied in to the sim. Much better.

I get in mine and pull down super hard on the adjustment straps. I can't move! :)

3-points is a normal car safety belt, but 4 or 5 points makes no big difference in simulator use. 5th belt going down mainly keeps lap belt in place, preventing it to go up when shoulder belts are tightened.

I use a 4-point and if I see corrently the fifth point would be between my legs right? I don't really would like that and wouldn't consider that neccessary.

The 5th point is for helps for head on crashes. Sub belt. 6 point can be more comfortable in a crash, but 5 point will hold you in place for a race sim. If you can move the 5th mounting point further forward it can help hold the lap down on your hips, and still be comfortable. Still overkill unless you have a seat with lots of angle under breaking.

In a motion simulator, the belt between your legs is also helpful if you have a belt tensioner installed, which pulls the belts that go around your legs. Such a tensioner is meant for simulating negative heave forces: The increased pressure on the upper side of your legs simulates your body moving upwards out of the seat. With a 3 point harness, this effect is much less intensive.
