    Hello,
It's been a while since I've been asking questions. :p
I'm wanting to build a button box with buttons, pull switches, and rotary encoders with push button feature. I want to use a JC32 joystick controller by Symprojects. In their diagram they show wiring a rotary encoder with 3 wires, similar to the DSD 32 button controller. The thing is the rotary switch I think I need that has a push button feature has 5 wires. Can anyone tell me if this switch will work?
edit: link not allowed. Sorry but if you need to, you can search amazon for "DIKAVS 360 Degree Rotary Encoder Code Switch DIgital Potentiometer".

    Thank you!

It looks like only 3 wires are needed in this switch, even though there are 5 terminals. I'll confirm once all parts get here.
