ahh, i see. I canceled my order (hopefully i'll get a refund) and i'll order the one noorbeast recommended. So the one he recommended can do crossover? which is disabling high frequencies and using low frequencies only. And do i need to buy ANYTHING else other than the one he linked? like wires or stuff? and i did not get what you (noorbeast) meant by cheap usb sound cards for each channel. You mean i also have to buy four of these sound cards plus the amp you linked?

@Mpmo - to use the amp noorbeast mentioned, you need a power supply and you also need four channels worth of low pass filters if you are going to run from your standard audio that you are using in your games.

If you use SimVibe or GameVibe, those both tell sound cards to output just the low frequencies and you don't need crossovers. It's just if the audio you are using has higher frequencies present, you want to block those.

Sound cards will have 2, 4, or maybe more channels. It all depends on what you want and what is available to you. If you use the amp noorbeast mentioned, it has four separate channels that can drive your four Auras. Therefore you need four channels worth of sound card to drive them unless you just double up and parallel channels. Either 2 stereo or 1 each of a 4 or more channel USB sound card would work.

It doesn't look like wires are supplied with that amp. Or a power supply. Or low pass filters. It's just the amp.

Ahh I see. Do you know any amps that have everything needed with them? That are spelled as complete packages containing the power supply, wires, and sound cards? Or do I have to buy them all separately

I think you have to buy things separately or at least I don’t know of any kits like that. The thing is that wire has a cost for manufacturers and they don’t know how long of wire people need. The longer the wire, the heavier gauge it needs to be. It’s wasteful to put wire in the box that people can’t/don’t use.

I see. So the things I need now other than the amp Noorbeast suggested and the 4 auras are:
    Speaker wire
    Power supply
    Is that it..?

Hey Noorbeast, is this better than the one you linked me? Cause the one you linked me can’t convert higher frequencies to lower frequencies (crosswire) I THINK, right? Does this one have? And is it capable of running 4 aurasounds? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007...g_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=7X6ZFJ4YKXPTVNX5T62S

Also, will this power supply be good enough for it? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003...g_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=HKNWSEA3YT7JG7903F5W

Auras are 50w each, so you need at least 50w per channel if you want the full power.
The amp you're asking about, can get you just about 40w per channel, and just 2 channels (plus the subwoofer one). So it's is not enough for 4 auras.
Same for the power supply - 4 * 50w = 200w - so you need at least a 200w power supply if you want full power.

Ahh gracias. And the amp Noorbeast linked can give 4 auras max power? If so, then I’ll buy that

Also, don’t i need something to convert high frequencies to low frequencies? Will the amp he linked do that?

Also, do you know any recommended power supplies that are at least 200 watts that’ll be perfect for the auras?

The one he linked can handle approx. 100w per channel, so it's more than enough. Just be sure not to crank the "volume" too much in order to keep the amp from providing the whole 100w to the 50w auras and damaging them.

If you're planning to use GameVibe or SimVibe (as topic title states), you don't need the crossovers.

As for the power supply, I would get this one: https://www.parts-express.com/mean-...50w-regulated-switching-power-supply--320-316
It's 350w, so more than enough even for some additional hardware if you need it, and its price is just a bit higher than of this 200w one: https://www.parts-express.com/mean-...0w-regulated-switching-power-supply--320-3140
But I'm pretty sure you could also get the 200w one and it will be enough.

I am running 4 Mini LFE's on these amps:
Audio Source AMP100VS 2 Channel Amplifier (Black) (amazon)
I have been running them hard for over a year with zero issues.
One thing to note (at least with mini LFE's) they have overtemp protection built in to the Mini LFE's, so if you drive them to hard for to long, they will go offline until they cool down, then automatically start working again. It initially is a dance between what you want from the shakers, to the bass shaker software setup you have (sim vibe or what ever) to the output of the amps themselves.

btw, this one requires a power supply that i should buy separately, but there are also 200 watt amps that already have power supply right? like the dayton 230A amp
