@Closed Beta Testers: V0.5.0 is out, GUI looking better than ever. Mika has now implemented the Bump-stops as well, so things are progressing nicely.

    Get testing :)

PS: Next on the list is the Bootloader which will significantly ease fw updating, I guess we will see it move to open beta at that point. Mika can confirm yes or no.

They will release one more closed beta to ensure beta features work. They anticipate releasing open beta #soon. Perhaps two weeks.

Thank for sharing more precise information, two weeks is not too far away from what we can say. Seems very promising.

Downloaded and using it in iRacing, need to set profiles for each car but the AMG GT3 feels amazing, like the big heavy powerful car it is.
Now its all about playing with the settings to get what you want out of the car, for a start A+

which does not mean wie could not test it on AC? I did not have any time yet to install the firmware because I am totally snowed under with work at the moment.

    EDIT:

Mika from Granite devices said: "We have recognized potential problems with fully open source release, but if there are interested parties, we will release at least some relevant parts of it for open source development. Having only one place for official builds (and only one, closed-source configuration tool) also gives better user experience at this point.

Current beta release still lacks lots of FFB effects like game-controlled damping and inertia, and many things still need fine-tuning. These are the things that we will focus on next."

It's still beta and has a few issues. It is a wash at this point IMO. The feel is better as it seems a bit smoother but it's much the same. Also the transition from Mmos to simucube firmware can be a bit tricky.
