    Thanks @Ned and @ferslash

@ferslash bending was the easy part: 12mm filled steel pipe ,on a pipe bender made a circle D86cm and cut it in half

    Bought this actuator today
Wanted to fix it as heave but instead going to use it as a replacement for surge because my old motor is heating up after 15 min and reduces more than 50% of the motion

What are the specs of the actuator?

    Hi noorbeast
It's 18mm/'s not 25 as they say in the documentation

I know that it's slow but with the right leverage I think it will provide the motion intended

Each 10mm on the actuator = 10 degree of surge/pitch
Will have to test it more though to check if the actuator motor will heat up

    it didn't work

Under 80kg load the movement was soooooooo slow didn't even react on time

Member experimentation is a good thing and while that was not an unexpected result it is useful confirmation for others about the speed necessary for good motion.

@noorbeast The specs of the actuator tricked me it couldn't even lift 100kg and at 75kg the speed was 4mm/s

    you were right :cheers

can you modify the internal to make it faster ? will it run 24v instead of 12 for example ?

Normally the innards are not designed to take loads and speeds that are 10-15 times faster.

    @Gadget999
The motor speed is already 3000 rpm the voltage doesn't matter
If it wasn't maybe I would have tried to change the motor but as noorbeast said they are not designed to take these kind of speeds
thanks for trying to help :cheers

I am a creative design, before I had a similar idea, but in the end I chose the mainstream design practice. Recently I'm looking for some new design ideas, if find a suitable design scheme, I will again DIY simulation platform!
