Hi! my name is Fran and I'm from Spain,

I have a 2Dof with 24V Wiper motors, with only seat mover base, G27 with an hidraulic handbrake. I have using it with another free program (I don't know if I can name it) and I'm sick of the dificult of use it, problems of conection (I have a USB Hub that I think have problems of power too) and I want to try other options and compare. My favorite games are Assetto Corsa, Project Cars and Dirt Rally. Now I'm looking to put 2 body shakers in the seat, the Simtools can't do it work with the standard program version?

I'm trying to understand the coin system to get the game plugins, I have to pay or to be active in forum? How many messages I need to get one coin?

thank you and see you all in the forum

    Welcome @franccac.

The FAQs are a good place to start for most questions.

The demo version of SimTools 2 comes prebundled with the Live For Speed plugin for testing puposes, a lices is required to run any other plugins. Conditions apply, including length of membership and having a DIY build thread, but free DIY license tokens are available for those who are eligable, see here for details: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/request-a-free-diy-simtools-2-0-license.262/

Here is an overview of the coin system, be careful not to spam posts for coins as the site admins will take swift action: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/coins-and-how-to-download-plugins.2/

    Hi @franccac

    Welcome!
You can present your project in detail to get diy license and with a little activity in the forum get the coins for the plugin but if you are going to put a bass shaker is better the pro version, costs less than others that is only for the vibration and This one has everything (although the vibe is not finished yet)

    Hi @Javier Serrano

    Welcome!
We will be attentive to your project

Hi @NjMotion thanks, I will inform about the Vibe state.

Saludos!!

Hi all, I've been looking around here for quite a while and am finally making some progress on my rig. (It's holding itself up and works with the SMC3 utilities software.)

I'm a mechanical engineer with an aversion to electronics, and this is my first experience with Arduino, etc. I wouldn't have gotten nearly this far without all the information on this website. Thanks to everybody that's shared troubleshooting information...turns out I've repeated a lot of mistakes that you guys have already made:)

    Hi,
I'm looking for ideas for "wife friendly" 2dof or even 3dof carsim. I had G27 with playseat and sold it after I start living with my better half. Year ago I managed to get playseat challenge ( you can fold it and hide it from your wife/GF ) and TM T500RS w/ TM T8A Gearshifter in our house. I made rally-style handbreak from broomstick and MC rear brake switch. Now I want to make something impossible, simulator that I can hide, but I get some feeling also. I'm not trying to make it thinking it gives the best rally/racing experience of all time, I know I need to sacrifice some of that to make it slide under the bed or fold to closet. I've made few projects with arduino also.
I live in Finland, native language is not english and I'm 27yo automation engineer working now as power network designer ( yes I know it's not automation ).

    Welcome @ludo22420

You can duel language post as long as you also include an English translation.

We have bi-lingual speakers from many different language groups so if Google Translate really messes it up they can help clarify what was intended.

Have a look at existing member builds, that may help you refine your own project ideas: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-motion-simulator-projects.22/

You will find plenty to get you started in the FAQs, from design software, dimension of sims, to PSUs, pots, motors, JRKs, Arduino code and Motor Monsters, plus heaps more: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/

    Hi Folks!!

as you can see... I am a new user of the community.

I am writing from Argentina, and my idea is to start a 6DOF project for Flight simulation. I am Private Pilot and in my free time, I used to spend some hours in my home sim.

Hope we can share experiences (I read a lot in the forum).

See you soon with some updates of my project!
