    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, DC motor, Arduino
    i use tachometer & tm1638 for RPM data from Dash 1 - 3 in Interface 1 and wind simulator in Interface 2

    my output rules and interface output are not the same value

    in output rules interface 1 is

    TOHEX
    PAD 4 0

    and interface 1 output is

    Interface Output - R<Dash2>M<Dash2>S<Dash1>G<Dash3>
    Shutdown Output - Z00

    ================================================

    output rules interface 2 is

    MATH * 0.8
    ROUND 0
    PAD 3 0

    and interface 2 output (for wind sim) is
    S<Dash1>

    is it wrong with my setup or it is bug ?

    thanks

    You can use multiple interfaces, there are 3 available.

    Where I get confused a bit is when you list these.
    MATH * 0.8
    ROUND 0
    PAD 3 0

    These edits belong to a DASH value, and how it produces its output.
    There is not one set of edits per interface.

    In other words, if you enter these edits for Dash1:
    MATH * 0.8
    ROUND 0
    PAD 3 0
    For Live for Speed, no matter what interface I send Dash1 too, it will always use these edits.

    Yes, you can do this:
    But the commands you enter under Dash1 (the pencil) belong to Dash1.
    And will be used where ever you use <Dash1> for any interface.

    Do either of the devices (tachometer or tm1638) use a Arduino, were we could just alter a bit of code to make them compatible with each other?

    very sadly but i can't make the code to make them compatible :(

    now i use SimHub to run my tacho&tm1638

    i think its will be better if gamedash can use different commands in interface (the pencil commands)

    @Meawto,
    I'm not against it buddy.
    But it won't be done tomorrow.
    So if one of them runs on an Arduino, I bet someone can help you alter the code a bit to make them compatible.

    @Meawto,
    The next version of GameDash will support independent edits per interface.
    I always wanted to add it and there is someone that needs it now.
    it now also remembers the Dash 1-20 labels once they get set for a game.
    And its looking faster and more efficient, even thou it does more.
    anyway, more to come...

    Anytime @Meawto, :thumbs
    Its a pretty cool upgrade, as anyone can run any 3 GameDash projects found in the forums.
    Like this guys speedometer is cool, I'm using it.
    And this other guy's rpm meter is nice, use that too.
    And this guy's wind simulator is.... :D
