Hi Craig. Great job - pitch and roll working nicely now. Tuning center showing game data from pitch, roll correctly now (and yaw).
I'm off for a bit of cqc now for a play.

    Craig @SilentChill

I checked the plugin , pitch , roll and yaw works so far, but sway , heave and surge doesn't work as I think.

Is there a special new setting to bring these to work?

    Best,
    Kermit

We all like a bit of good news - looking forward to hearing more about your breakthrough.

I had a blast on cqc last night using the latest plugin. Everything started off well (roll and pitch wise) but once I got shot and respawned my chair moved like it was following the movements of someone elses ship, then when the match ended my chair parked up at an angle of 30 degrees right roll. Reset the game and it started off correctly until the battle started then unrelated movement again. Hopefully stable pointers etc will cure this.
I've a stack of student exam papers to mark this evening but hoping to get a bit of gaming in later - along with a beer!

    Hi Craig @SilentChill

I'd try it out without my oculus rift. (Connector removed).

This seems to be work :) but I use my rick only with the oculus. Would be nice if you can find a solution to bring it to work with the oculus rift.

    Best,
    Kermit

Yeah I only play in the Rift now its a shame because the plugin works brilliantly without VR.

Sorry to hear that there are problems with the full 6dof when using the rift.
I stuck with the plugin that Craig released Friday at 21.25hrs as it gave me the pitch and roll I need for my 2dof chair. I only play Elite using a cv1 and the plugin works very well for my 2dof in vr.
One of the main things I wanted to try out was multicrew. My chair got a really good workout with me in the passenger seat while someone else is at the helm - especially in battle.
In CQC one has to be careful not to crash at speed into the station or asteroids as this could flip me out of the chair!. In main game everything is as it should be - in normal space and super cruise/hyperspace. Even the slight movements when jumping are there (which I like).
I really hope you get sorted with the other motions in the rift. Thanks again Craig for all your hard work. I'm sorted for now.

I play with Oculus, can confirm that pitch, roll and yaw work, surge don't. Also it's rock stable, previous one behaved strangely sometimes, in cruise and on stations. Personally Im pretty happy and can live with that much until the next game update at least :) Thanks, Craig!
