You have to change your Velleman card. This card has really become obsolete.
Buy an Arduino, you will see the difference, this is incredible !

I do have 3 new arduino uno r3..for some reazon I dont like this card, to complicate to program !!! I like Velleman VM110 N(k8055) ...the card is easy to wiring, setup and is pre programmed -not flashing needed or codes to mess with..only need the drivers and is good to go....great for motion platform and the led analog/digital indicator shows when is working......!!!

I will use an Arduino for CNCs ,laser printing or 3d printing they are awesome for that...

Also the arduinos , does not hold wire firm on the tiny pins holes...even with screw type piggyback shields... with vibration have the tendency of coming out and lose connectivity..and send the motor on a crazy spin damaging the pots..the K8055 the cables are firmed bolted and tied..and take a lot of vibration and abuse...!!!just my 2 cents....thanks

Just solder the wires to the Arduino or use a kangaroo.

You won't beat SMC3 Sabertooth for setup and profiling.

    That's my 3 cents :D
