There are also other places to purchase the actuators. Thus far, Mirai has been professional and informative.

I'm dealing with a warranty issue with them right now.

Anyone can sell you a product, only the good suppliers stand behind their products and support their customers.

I'll let you know how it goes.

UPDATE: Mirai has done their part, and my DOA actuator has been repaired and is on it's way back to me. Nathan was both knowledgable and professional. I too would recommend doing business with Mirai.

FYI, if you receive a faulty actuator, you have to eat the shipping charges both ways for the repair though.

And why is that normal? Did you order a broken one so you have the pleasure to pay extra? I understand if it would have broken by itself later, but they sent it broken.

You are right, I'm just so happy that they didn't try to shaft me out of $475 that I glady paid it.

Hi Bernard, how long took the repair of the actuator?

I am not amused about taking shipping charges in case of a damaged actuator when it was not damaged by buyers own fault, but it is good to know. So, everyone can decides by themself if he wants to risk an international order over borders.

But we must not forget that usually MIRAI sell to business customers. It´s a fine thing that they decided to sell their actuators to non-professional users. That speaks for them.

    regards, René

    Hello,

I'm new here and i see for made a frex like sim.
The 100mm scn5 cost 276 euro with cable at http://frex.xsrv.jp/gpshop/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=1_27&products_id=97
They say Preset memory as works for Right of SimConMOTION controller..It is possible to reprogram this preset for use with x-sim or it is possible frex protect memory?
From frex to France ; 2 x scn5+cable cost 614 euros whith shipping cost but mirai cost 692 without cable!
    Can you help me?

    Thanks

AFAIK, you get the same pigtail wires in either case. The only difference is the connectors, which you will either be cutting off, or buying opposite gender plugs anyway. So I don't think you have a cable advantage when purchasing the SCM actuators. What shipping method did you have quoted from Mirai? I'm guessing that you got your pricing from their website. They may have lower cost shipping options if contacted by phone.

    Hello,
    I take price here : http://www.miraiintertech.com/home/purchase.php

1 x Shipping Option: Parcel Post (Europe) $58.00 USD
    2 x Europe - SCN5 Actuator : 100mm $840.00 USD (without cable)
    Sous-Total : $898.00 USD around 692 euros

even with the free carriage costs Mirai is more expensive than frex.

    thanks

    Hi,

Frex sends to france for only 30 Euro insured?
I prefer, that you buy at Miraii, nevertheless. Also, you could ask for a little discount ;D

    Hi,

    Was haltet Ihr hiervon?
