Hello, my wiper motors were so hot that they were going to slow down, and so bad that I had to stop soon racing after 20 minutes.
So, they had to be cooled.
At first I did one on each engine with a PC fan, which helped a little.
Then two PC fans on each engine, even that was not enough.
When I saw this forum a dc motor with holes for better cooling.
That worked a lot better in collaboration with PC fans.
But still not enough, a larger fan to the motor must be mounted.
So I ordered two centrifugal fans on www.conrad.nl
    Radiaalventilator 12 V 90 m³/h 7.5 cm TMC-037101-12V
So now they remain cold, and I can race for hours.
One thing the fans make much noise, so you have to put the race sound louder.
And would like to thank everyone from simtools and his forum, I am still learning every time.
Thanks to all of you, I enjoy every day of my sim.

    That is some serious cooling!

Have you considered a variable speed setting, that may make the noise a little more bearable.

glad that you have found a solution! :)

but I would say that it could have been better to spent the $$ on bigger motors at the beginning rather than on additional fans
    more silent and efficient...

but maybe your motors have been free or under estimated at purchase :) that could explain the process.
    we all have had "surprises"...

Yes, the dc motors were very cheap, but this is my first Sim, I'm still learning.
But I'll take all advice with me to my second sim. Thanks
