Where did you buy it from ? Most retailers who re sell these make it known that they were pulled from a "WORKING" server. Contact the seller.

What is the battery for? To aid the system when turning it on?
As that is a current plothole in trying to understand everything needed for starting my own build. :roll

The power supply units as powerful as they might be, are purposed for use with computer circuits.

So they are very sensitive to excessive changes in power draw conditions.

This can cause their protection circuit to trip and shut them down.

A battery can absorb power spikes and make life easier for the PSU.

Brilliant glad someone has done the whole thing I started this same thing last year on a spare set of pedals for t500rs.
Will try find the pics as it's about the same where I was going too in fact it was exactly the same just about.
I new you could wire direct as the sensors on my pedals should be 0v-5v which is sensor range. It was the sensor and shere fact it could be direct wired that i wanted to try on those pedals which was what triggers the whole thing I started it.
But I lost interest in it as had other things going on.
So glad you have completed it with full guide.
I will be getting it all out again now ! Lol

And yes this needs to be put as a sticky in the build section I think defo.

    Good job dude ! :)

Thank you for your fast reply!
Does the battery need any kind of maintenance over time, e.g. charging or something like that?

3.5 years since this build appeared and there's still a wealth of useful information & ideas here.

    Thanks for sharing your build.

Pic's are worth 1000 words, and have helped give me ideas for my under-the-seat mover and components placement.

    Cheers!
