@Erwan960 - Would you mind sharing the length and width of your Sim? (in cm/mm)

I'm going to remake mine in Aluminium profile when time permits and I'd like to base it on yours if you don't mind.. Thank you.

What sizes did you use? 40x40 or 20x20, looks like som 40x20 as well from the steering wheel support etc?

I used profile of 40x40 for the rig, 80x40 for the Wheel support and speakers.
    The rig is 78x120 cm.

    Hi Erwan,
I like your sim, really nice looking!
I am reading and trying to make up my mind about what sim to build. Could you mind and share with me the measures of the alu structure? I only need the alu tubes dimensions (length) so that I can ask for a quote to an overseas alu maker. I live far away from him so I need to check for shipping and customs costs before I even think about building it.
Are your alu tubes the standard model or the re-inforced one?
Also, I don´t know if you still keep any sketches from your project?
    Thx in advance.
    Rgds.

Hello Erwan960, I have almost completed my work, but I have a new problem: when the engines change direction my power supply (24V , 480W ) goes into protection for about two seconds due to motor current peaks.
What kind of power supply you used for your fantastic work? Thank you!!! ;)

    Grazie!!! ;)

When the engines change direction, the current can rise to 30 A. My power supplies can deliver 50A. So the limit is on the Pololu JRK which can support about 30A peak during a very short time. That's the reason why I put some fuses to protect it.

    Hi Erwan960!

I just want to say awesome work! Your sim is great, and I want to build one like yours. I am just reading everything first, to get the feeling what will I need for the build.

@Erwan960: ok, so it's time to start reading, learning and thinking. I just hope, I will have the sim ready before 3 year time :)
