Actually i was looking for some kind of 2dof model for Arduino to learn how the simtools works. After a while, i realized that i was over thinking everything so i just started building my own model. QUICK AND DIRTY. If you want to start with Simtools right now, this is what you are looking for.

If you are looking for a good and accurate Model, change every material that i used :)

Here is what you are getting at the end.

This will not be my best Lap :)

    Be creative!

What you need for your Model:

Cardboard, paperclips, drinking straws, duct tape , hot glue, milk package (juice or something else should also work :) and a knotted cord.

And this i what you need for the Arduino part:

    1 x Arduino
    2 x Servos
    1 x USB cable type A/B
    Some wiring cables
Breadboard (You don't really need this but i recommend buying one)

For Arduino beginners i would suggest the Arduino Uno or something similar like the Duemilanove or some Clone (left ones).

First of all i suggest you installing Sim Tools, the Arduino IDE and Life for Speed (Plugin is included in SimTools)

Before building our Model, we connect our circuit to see if everything is working. (If you are new to Arduino, take your time and learn how Arduino and the Digital Pins works.)

Here you have a connection Diagram for the Servos.

Download the great @eaorobbie(Thanks for that) Sketch and upload it to the Arduino. Follow his instructions on how installing the preset and changing your ComPort.

If everything works, you are good to go!

    Now let's build our model.

Put something under the Servos (Arms should not touch the floor)

shoulder mount (This should be strong. That's why i am using hot glue)

That's it. Now is time to open the SimTolls game Manager and play with the numbers :)

You would normally aim for 100% total, not for each axis unless they are a dedicated axis that only does one force.
