Can Simtools v1.3 be used to program an effect from a button??

    I want to know if cockpit buttons can trigger a motion or vibration effect? I want to design an effect which simulates a pilot bail out. Either the motion rig gives a heave or a bass shaker delivers one great thump. Can a delay be programmed in as well? For instance, the pilot hits the eject button and on the count of three the motion effects are delivered. My understanding is that Simtools II will have something like this but does version I? Pilots need more buttons that drivers. Dropping fuel tanks or bomb release would call for heave. Lots to explore.

    You are correct, SimTools 2.0 will introduce transducer support.

    @value1 created the existing joystick motion plugin, which triggers motion from the peripheral input, but that does not currently support the type of motion you have in mind, which would be cool.

    Actually @yobuddy just announced that licensing is about to be released for SimTools 2.0, so best to wait a little bit and build a plugin for that as 2.0 was built from the ground up to allow great plugin flexibility.
