This might be a really stupid idea and I am not sure if anyone has posted something likes this before so sorry if it has already been discussed.

I was considering the possibility of a GS-4 G-Seat combined with a shoulder mounted motion rig when I thought about doing the same with a seat mover and a frame mover(or all three, but that is probably going too far!!).

The design would be simple enough, take a traditional seat mover and mount it on a frame connected to two or more motors. It would mean that the motors for the seat mover would be moving with the frame.

Pitch and roll, or 'non G-force' forces, could be achieved with the frame mover, while surge and heave, or 'G-force' forces could be configured on the seat mover. I have tried to imagine what it would feel like, if for example, forces would cancel out or interfere constructively but it is a bit difficult without actually trying it. I wonder if anyone has built something like this?

As I said, might be a really dumb idea. I have had both types of simulator and I have noticed that a seat mover is far better for simulating g-forces and road bumps. It is so good for me that my logitech g27's FFB is almost non-existent. Avenga76's rig is what I initially imagined but I haven't seen anything like I described above(maybe there is a reason for that:nerd). A combo of the two would allow for heave and surge to be much more accurately portrayed while still allowing for forces such as pitch and roll.
