I backed it up with a PM, Noorbeast. Thanks for the heads up though, mate.

I haven't used mine for a great number of hours, but the only mechanical problem I've had turned out to be shipping damage. It appears that somewhere along the way something very heavy was placed on top of the box, pushing the backrest downward so hard that it bent the internal mounting points. Over time the misalignment finally resulted in a broken gear tooth and some slipping/grinding from one of the actuators. Geko fixed both actuators at no cost (I did have to remove them and pay to send them back to Poland), and also sent me a new mounting channel for the backrest.

The DC transformer also failed early on, and they sent me another one. It's just an off-the-shelf universal adapter so worst case you could probably find a suitable replacement locally.

I have pictures of mine but not enough posts here yet to inline them.

Maybe you should protect the privacy of the design of this small company... If people want to built their own (we are in a DIY forum), they should try to design their own. :)

That's a good thought, Racing Mat. Didn't mean to reverse engineer their product, just trying to assess if the quality is worth investing in. :)

Glad to hear that GEKO supports their product and replaced actuators.
