    Hello everyone!

First I want to thank and congratulate the community for providing the information and materials that made it possible for me and many others to build their own simulators.
And sorry for the bad English, I'm from Brazil.:D

So.. I started to build my simulator in October 2014 and ended in May 2015. I played for a while until I started having problems with the X-Sim software, than I let the sim stopped until now.
Today I discovered the XSimulator and decided to test again. ;)

Here is the project originally posted on X-Sim forum:

I have based on RacingMat project.
I used Autodesk Inventor to make the drawing.

Using this Cockpit from WSGT and a Logitech G27.

Two Bosch wiper motor 24v / Arduino Uno / Pololu VNH5019 / Two PSU 24V 14,5A in parallel.
    IMG_3943.JPG

The base made of wood and steel.
    IMG_3976.JPG

    Base welded.
    IMG_4022.JPG

Base with more wood and all the electronic mounted for testing.
I uploaded the RacingMat code to the Arduino and tested sending commands by Serial Monitor and worked great!
    IMG_4041.JPG

Than I install the cockpit on the base and add a Creative 5.1 sound system.
    IMG_4103.JPG

Have to add two springs because the weight was too high in the front.
Changed the pots to better ones too. Everything stuck with hot glue for now :p
    IMG_4070.JPG

Some measures to have a better idea.
    IMG_4079.JPG IMG_4081.JPG

Installed the monitors and finally done! :)

I will post more details and some videos later.

    Thanks!!

Yes, the feedback is given by the Arduino.
The pots for positioning are connected on Arduino and then go to the Pololu.

    Thanks for sharing your project.
The Pololu 2507 + Arduino is very good partner.
    Now only "enjoys SimTools" !!!

Sadly I can't afford the 19euros to test SimTools now :(
Have to wait for a while... Euro is too expensive, 1 to 4 almost:(

    Thanks Daguru!
I already downloaded the SimTools, but I need a plugin to test with my games..
So I need 250 coins or pay 19eur. That is what I understand reading the FAQ, pls tell me if I wrong.

    Regards!

Yes, the base should be wider to become more stable.
After two hours playing the motors became warm only, also the Pololu. Even without heatsink.

It seems a lot of weight for engines, look after them well if they will not last long.

    Hi Thomaz!

    I'm glad I helped you!

I never used SMC3Utils, is this just for testing?
I just used the SimTools software, here is my config:

Hi Fabio! I'm building my simulator too. I'm a Brazilian either. I'd like to know if this code from the Arduino Uno works on the Arduino Nano. I'm testing now, but i can't see on the Serial Monitor the comunication with the Simtools.
