@djkc: You write "AMAZING VR": So did you try Aerofly FS with a VR headset? I was periodically looking for VR support for quite some time, but finally I gave up, lost the focus, and switched to FSX. So is it working well?

@SilentChill: If the Oculus Support works well for Aerofly FS (I will give it a try), then I would be willing to buy you a version if you in turn would create a plugin. :thumbs

@MarkusB - i did try Aerofly FS with rift. Work's well. 90 frames with everything maxed out.

@SilentChill : I'll gladly help pay towards a copy of AeroflyFS. Anybody else want to chip in besides myself and MarkusB?

WIP. @vrxsim has provided me a link to the SDK of Aerofly. Thanks a lot! I'm done with the plugin and need to clean up stuff like a proper patching routine.
    Maybe tomorrow…

Unfortunately "sophisticated flight dynamics model" doesn't match with my PC specs ...

this looks interesting, i found this comment on the steam comments board "I bought this game purely for VR and I have not been disappointed. Its a very nice game for flying VFR in daylight when its not raining (there is currently no option for rain). The graphics and lighting in VR are a slight improvement over DCS, mainly an improvement in scenery as cockpits are as good looking, although some lighting, reflections and shadows are better. There is a large area of detailed scenery. "

i'm very much into nice scenery, and a bit disappointed that DCS only really does Las Vegas quite well. and that's not cheap! does anyone know if aerofly is like FSX where users can develop their own modules, like scenery? or more like DCS which is a closed box?

NOTE, i just tried 4 times to register on their forum but it doesn't seem to work, not encouraging!

Yes, their forum is kaput since yesterday.
And yes, there is a SDK which allows you to develop your own stuff.
