Excited to get started on this Race Simulator
Lots still to decide upon, but the base frame has been selected.

I'm going to try to copy the SimXperience 2 design as best I can

I've found a UK fabricator that will do the Steelworks using 25mm box (smaller than the design) for circa £ 200
so there is little point in my buying the steel and a welder - it works out to be the same.

Firstly I'm getting my head around the way things work and have spent 10 mins with my R/C gear to test the Arduino Servo system

I'll post as much as I can as the build progresses -
Happy for flaming or encouragement :)

A fellow UK member is bulk ordering so I've gone that route. Gave up trying to find a cheaper option.
Buy right or buy twice I guess.

    Hi Mark,

Universal Joint looks so small do you think it can handle your weight ?

The uni joint actually looks bigger and more robust than what they use in commercial CXC sims, so I am sure it will be fine.
