    Hi to all,

Anyone using hall effect sensor as 10k potans ? I did a diy hall effect potans but when I test axis and slide it right or left it works but it doesnt stop at %100 and continue to turn. When I center the slider the motor stops

do you know what the problem is ? Pot looks like that I am using Allegro A3503 Ratiometric sensor

Sounds like POT is going in opposite direction to motor. Try swapping the two wires to the motor so it goes in reverse direction.

EDIT: Also if you are truning the POT by hand the motor will not stop... the POT needs to be mechanically connected to the motor to provide the closed loop position feedback.
