Hello. New member here primarily looking to get speed data from iRacing to an Arduino to drive wind simulation fans for my home-built racing rig. I am looking at using game dash for this...do you recommend using the forums credits download option or spending the $20 on the 1-year download license?

    Welcome @Jazz Ross.

I don't use iRacing but it does not look like GameDash is supported, perhaps other members can advise if that is not the case: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/iracing-plugin.28/

You will find the FAQ section covers many detailed build related topics including GameDash and Wind simulation:

    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/gamedash-settings-tips-and-tricks.21/category

    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/fans-wind-simulation.67/

We have a glossary for all those acronyms we tend to use, which will help you decipher some descriptions: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/glossary-of-acronyms-and-names.66/

When you are ready please start your own project thread here and post about your project, including clarifying if GameDash can be run with iRacing for Wind simulation. You will earn coins pretty fast that way, but if you don't have enough once you have gathered advice and equipment and are ready to test your project them just PM me and I will give you whatever coins you need: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-peripherals.32/

Good luck with your iRacing wind project.

    Welcome @thierry78.

On the main threads you can dual language post but please do include an English translation via Google Translate. It saves other members time trying to work out who may need help and who is just posting a comment.

We have bi-lingual speakers from many different language groups so if Google Translate really messes it up they can help clarify what was intended.

There is a specific section for native language based social interactions: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/#international-social-chats-and-conversations.155

When you are ready please start your own project thread here, where you will also find inspiration checking out the awesome rigs of other members: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-peripherals.32/

As yours is a commercial simulator you can start your own thread in the commercial section: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/commercial-simulators-and-peripherie.52/

You will need 5 posts before you can use links: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...ed-posts-needed-before-links-can-be-used.150/

On the main threads you can dual language post but please do include an English translation via Google Translate. It saves other members time trying to work out who may need help and who is just posting a comment.

thank you noorbeast for the replay. i´m going to buy everything first and after start working with it, i will start asking for help.

i have seen before some post very interesting, but the combo gamedash+arduino+tm1683 seems to be the easiest one.

For the time being post your transducer rig in the motion rig section, but the admins @Historiker and @RaceRay may consider the creation of a transducer related section, as SimTools 2.0 will introduce transducer support. If so they can easily shift your thread.
