I had given up on IL2 Sturmovik ever making good on their promises about VR support, which go all the way back to the early access days. So I absolutely delighted that they have announced preliminary support for the Vive with the latest patch: http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/12826-game-updates/?p=367267

I now have a reason to dust off my early access copy of IL2 Sturmovik and do my first update in what must be something like a year and a half!

Now all we need is Oculus support and a motion plugin:)

As it is done via SteamVR there is a good chance it may work on the Rift, though I have not heard if anyone has tried that yet.
