    So now you have the sliders hooked up does it work with windows SMC3Utils?

    Also you are taking a risk using alligator clips on the MM drivers. If they accidentally touch and short the outputs you could easily blow the drivers.

    Try Axis output instead of forces. Despite of this as far as I can see the Axis Assignments are wrong. Anyway pictures and screen shots help us more if we should help you.

    Hi all,

    We have made some good progress with our platform, I will attach a video that should show the stage we are up to and our settings in simtools.

    The circuitry looks fine and SMC3 appears to be doing what it should do bringing the pwm line down to the target line.

    Simtools doesn't seem to be talking to it though, and we think we have missed something critical in our setup.

    We did not win the competition back in June but were given a bit of recognition for the design of our build. We are going to continue nevertheless as the students have really got a great load of experience and fun from the project.

    Please let me know if you have any advice on the next steps for our build!

    It is hard to read settings from a video, so can you please post all settings as pictures.

    If you are using SMC3 code in the arduino;

    1) with the SMC3utils each actuator works? yes -> problem in simtools setting, no -> arduino communication / code problem
    2) If you use SMC3 code, as above mentioned you have the interface settings wrong, please change and try again.
