The guide says that the game must be patched, but I can't find any "patch" button?

Game manager. In your Notification center you will have 2 simtools Icons, One is the Engine, One is the manager. the Patching button is located on the main page of the Game manager as seen here.

Sorry I didn't reply earlier today when i read your 2nd to last reply. Didn't catch the 4th page.

Thank you for your reply, I found out that my browser only showed secure sites, so that box never came up :)

IT WORKS! It's amazing, I have never tried a motion simulator before, but I am truly surprised how much movement there are! You really get kicked around in Dirt Rally! :)

Thanks for all your help to make this work, now I just need a lot of finish and fiddling with the settings...

I've tried adding surge and heave, but the surge feels strange, might be reversed? How do I change that?

Please note that when 'output testing' axis movement in SimTools, it uses the 'Default' setting in the game list ;). Heave and Surge should both be in the same direction (or both reversed)

    Thank you very much:)

I made the settings for every force separate, and when I was done I tried using the tuning center, but it feels like sway is gone... And then the jrk's started to go into error with red leds pretty often...

Are you trying to tune Dirt Rally sway ?

Yes, I misunderstood how tuning centre work, but I have found out and have made an okay profile, but one of the jrk's keep getting into error mode after a while?

Many Many thing's can lead to a motor/JRK dropping out. From software setting's to Physical thing's like USB leads and USB Hubs.

Time to post up ALL your setting's from JRK to Simtools.

Too high PID? That was my main issue when I first set up my rig with JRKs (using bigger motors though).

I'll post them tomorrow, but if it was the settings, I'd suppose both would fail?

I found out :) by lowering the P and D to 0.30 and twisting the settings a bit it now runs fine :) there is a lot of work in making a good profile, but it's also quite fun to fiddle around with :)

profile tuning comes with time, You cant expect a 100% perfect Profile without FULLY understanding how the Engine/Tuning center and how the Game data actually correlates to the motion. It all comes in time and experimenting and playing with the setting's is the Only way to learn really.

Yeah, it's actually more work in tuning it than building it :)

It also surprised me how different the games is, it's a world apart to make a profile for dirt rally and pcars!

Found it to be to sloppy, but also found out that if I decreased max acceleration and duty I can run higher pid and get sharp motion :)
