    Hi guys,

I'm pretty surprised not to see this game in the forum. I should even own his own thread on the main sim games list.
By the way, I just started this thread to discuss a bit about AMS (Automobilista motorsports simulator).

As a team member of Racing-France league, we totally moved from project cars to this game 2 month ago because of the lack of multiplayer support of the SMS title and I have to admit that the feeling is really there. No surprises on handling, no false joy, this game really gave us all the smile we lost trying to do championships on Pcars.

Also the graphics, even if they are not as pretty as other titles, are enough to get pleasure and in 3-4 laps only we completely forget about the others.

If you hesitates guys, please give it a try, I really worth it!

Thanks @noorbeast , this link is usefull for those that didn't get it yet.

About the physics @shannonb1, can you express yourself more on this? Did you tried AMS lately?
On my own, I believe the physics looks pretty good and the Force Feedback is really believable.

tried it, hated it. GFX were horrible. Its pretty much Rfactor 1. It doent support VR except for vorpx and its slow to update. Its also not geared towards the US.

I've saw a video with gameplay. The graphics looks like rFactor, but we need to take care of that?? I'm not very good in sim racing, but i would try it if I buy it

Have you not tried the LUT generator for AC ? Essentially maximizing your wheel's power to the limit.

No i've not heard of that ,, i actually fired up AC last week for the first time in well over 6 months and spent a good few hours dialing in the FFB and motion and was pleasantly surprised how good the wheel felt ,,, I'll definitely have a look into the LUT generator ,,cheers dude.

If you’re a must have VR guy, a must have laser scanned track guy, or a must have rumble physics guy, then AMS is apparently not for you.

Otherwise, you’re really missing out if you don’t try this title. I have AC too but AMS is so much more fun it’s my go to title now, at least, atm. AC doesn’t come close when it comes to drifting. And where are karts, super trucks, rally cross, super V8, vintage stock cars, and formula Vee in AC…………oh, yea, there aren’t any! The only downside to AMS imo is its Brazilian only tracks (probably all they are licensed for). But as mentioned above, many of the tracks more familiar to us are available via other sources.

Ps Just love driving the Boxer (aka Porsche Carrera) !

Btw, another thing I forgot to mention is while I’m not a VR guy, I am a must have 3dVision guy. AMS is the only racing title out of the 30 or so I have that implements 3d as it should be. If you look at the 3dVision page in Nvidia’s control panel, you will see normal 3d is at about 15%. However, all my racing titles other than AMS must be run at 100% to get the correct depth. The titles that run at 100% have all the depth going from the screen and inwards. However, AMS at 15% brings the dash out of the screen and towards your body while the rest of the image is from the screen and inwards. When you reach out to touch the dash where it appears to be in AMS, all you feel is air. 3d looks great in AC too, but you would need to have the screen almost in your face in order for the dash to look as close as it would in real life.

That's right but If you decide to support Reiza and purchase the beta membership pack the DLC is included and you get a discount on the DLC released after the 1.0 version (that should be out on July this year)

AMS is great it has a lot of content you just don't get in other sims, great FFB and physics, graphics for me isn't that important but I will say they have done a great job of getting the most out of an old game engine, I enjoy the motion it gives and would recommend the sim it's up there with the best of them imo.
