    Well it has been pretty much 6 months since pre-ordering - but my Rift CV1 has finally been processed for shipping. Hope it has been worth the wait - was seriously thinking of just cancelling and going for a big set of triples for the same money.

    i'm still waiting and i'm sure its worth the wait for it and i have triples and not switched them on since i got dk2.
    frustraiting waiting tho as i just feel the lil bit extra to make the driving games that bit better is in oculuses hands now for me too.

    Unfortunately Assetto Corsa and DK2 are pretty average at the moment with the oversampling fixes not really making any difference I can see?

    Got mine about six weeks ago. Nice improvement over dk2 in most areas. The red tint on black backgrounds is very bad on mine though. Still no sign of a fix and support have been useless. I hope you get better luck with the newer kits.

    Keep harassing Oculus Support, the Red Tint problem can vary dramatically from being minor to making the Rift unfit for its intended purpose. If yours is the latter you really should aim to have it replaced.

    Well, Rift CV1 finally turned up, connected everything, ran the setup again for the new hardware and about five minutes into the demo's I have a hardware issue. Now loading the Oculus software onto my Sons rig to see if it is a Rift or Computer issue.

    Yes, it installed and was working fine for a couple of demos - then the sensor was disconnecting/connecting and I lost the screen - so it may be a USB issue, but that normally is picked up by the compatibility tool which also showed no issues.. early days - just happy to have a working Rift.

    i just got the recomended usb board and instaklled that ready as theres lots of issues with the usb by sounds of it.
    lets hope i get a working one my luck it will be a busted one.
    i'm checking everyday now as its getting close to my estimated date.
    can anyone tell me how many days before the ship date they take the money and do they just take it or ask for confimation thru an e-mail or something ?
    my estimated date is 13/6/2016
    or was it 2020!! lol
