@noorbeast So I was looking at @Boomslangnz screen captures
    http://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/motion-sim-w-surge-traction-loss.5950/page-16#post-91407
and he has startup <221><63> which doesn't make any sense to me (plus for some reason there are two numbers), then interface output <221><Axis 1> which shouldn't have any numbers, and lastly shutdown output <255>. I would expect it all to be 127 for the first and third field and no numbers for the interface output which should only indicate axis?

On JRKs 221 is the on command for Position, 63 tells it where to go and 225 turns it off.

OK, we have motion... Granted it is slightly weird, but it moves. I'll update with the video once I do a little tweaking.

Quick question, what fuses are you guys using? I manage to blow 15A slow-blow fuses but not sure if using 20A is a good idea.

    Thank you.

What was it doing when it blew the fuse ?

It was oscillating because I messed up DOF assignment, by the time I hit kill switch the fuse was done

So it did its job. An out of the ordinary occurrence(medded up DOF) caused it to pop. Under normal usage, that wouldn't happen now would it ? If you get normal motion with a 15A. continue using it. If it pop's under normal usage tho. Look to either increase the fuse or reduce the profiles of your motion to prevent spikes.(I suggest increasing fuse size)

my settings are attached I will be posting a couple of videos shortly

here is some motion, I placed a second monitor next to the motors so it easier to see what is going on, only two motors are active

Black Cat does NOT have a very good mesh, and the roads are soo wide its hard to replicate a run, over and over to feel the same thing's over and over....I suggest a track like Monza or Spa or Imola or Magione for testing. WAAAAAY better mesh compared to the fake Black Cat.

also why are you missing stuff on your DOF 3 and DOF 5 ?

@reko19 you might be better starting your tuning with serge & sway first ,,,,,and then pop the heave , pitch & roll in there .

Good Start with JRK~ May i know any performance diffence between JRK and Arduino in motion sims?

@Twinsen Yuen I wouldn't know exactly, I think JRK is a lot less involve in terms of programming

@stevemontuno I thought you start with roll and pitch?

@Nick Moxley I will make a better video on a different track

I am a bit confused on the traction loss. I understand it is extra1 in AC, but it seems to be overly sensitive. As soon as I turn the wheel a little to the left it swibgs all the way to the right, etc. Should I decrease DOF setting? I need to better understand a relationship between DOF, Filters, and how to use tuning center. That's on my nect to do list.

@noorbeast thank you, I will look into the links you provided. For some reason one of the levers keeps getting loose no matter how hard I tighten it. Need to figure it out.

Have a couple of questions. Every now and then I get kicked out of the sim tool game manager, it shows not connected and then kicks me out. It appears that it happens when I am crashing, etc. Any idea how to fix thiis?

Also, I keep losing one of the power supplies and have to reset it. This also seem to happen after a crash. Do I just lower a duty cycle under Jrk config?

    Thank you.

Try replacing the regular nuts with Nylock nuts. Then if they still wiggle loose (they technically shouldn't) Then use a healthy amount of red loctite. Sure it makes it more of a challenge to dis assemble when the time is needed but, But Moot point you want to keep it in 1 piece while playing so either CRANK those nuts on tight, or look to other solutions.

Game manager kicking out is a somewhat glitch on the simtools side but also hardware side having thing's turned up a little too much. (been there done that) v2.0 is Significantly better in this regards to a point where i used to have my JRK's limited in the Duty cycle and Accel, With V2.0 i was able to immediately go back up to 600/600. Bump your motor's down to say 500-500 and test, if no improvement try another bump down and if not, then we have to start working on a Better PID for your motors. I cant say i feel like the P and D are very accurately set. 1 and 1.5 are rather high for your motor's (same as mine) PSU dropping is part in parcel with the Duty cycle/PID settings more so than the PSU itself.

    P would be .5

Integral would be something i cant really remember lol (no worries your Integral looks good but might need a slight tweak once we adjust the P and D)

And its either .5 or .7 on my D i've flipped flopped between the 2 in the past and I honestly cant remember right now. Ill check next time i fire up the rig.
