    Very Smart. Are the printed materials pretty strong. I just expect it to be be brittle. I might have to treat myself to one of these printers one day though if they are as good as they look.

    thanks guys :cheers

    i have printed it with PLA and with 15% infill 0.3mm layer hight and it seems to be strong so far.

    haven't had any other shifter nor i have played with another. just tried to copy some feeling from arcade shifters my kid has fun with

    roughly the cost is about 15-20€ with the limit switches but without any other electronics. i am using a old game-pad i had laying around.

    thanks!

    PS: that's good to have a mechanical stop (black rubber rods) to prevent bumping and breaking the micro-switches
    well done! ;)

    @insanegr : yes, I was just describing what you'd done to give some hints to fellow members who may not notice the "black rubber rods" at the bottom

    @RacingMat sorry mate i paraphrased your post:oops:. english isn't my native language:rolleyes:.
    i had the long spacers printed and when the screw was hitting it was a bit annoying so i put them inside a water hose.
    spacers are mechanical stops too

    after using it for a time and to be a better shifter some parts need to be tweaked a bit, not that it isn't working but i don't want to share something that can fail after some use.when i have time i will redo it and probably share them here.
