It works fine with v9. Create the file where you want, and point the patch to this file.
Do not forget to launch notepad.exe to activate the plugin

It is a regular plugin, so the usual process applies.
GameDash is populated with correct data. It is then up to you to configure gamedash accordingly to your arduino which drives the TM1638.

Thanks. Getting things set up. This is good to hear. I was seeing other games needed to be updated a bunch and I was worried this was the same. New to scene.

This is one good thing about UDP. More stable than shared memory, unless wanted changes occur. No bad surprises and probably easier updates as well.
    V10 ok on PS4
    Cheers

To elaborate, since UDP is a method provided by game developers for the purpose of receiving telemetry, etc., it should not “break” with updates to the programs code unless an update is made to the UDP system itself. Therefore, if a method for telemetry output has been provided by the developer, it’s usually best to use that method instead of using memory hooks.

Therefore, this plugin should be considered a replacement and not an alternative.

I assume at the time the Simtools 1.0 plugin was created, that UDP in Project Cars had not been implemented yet. Therefore, I expect the Simtools 2.0 plugin will now use UDP also.

Hi, I have a problem with UDP plugin for simtools. With standart plugin Im able to got good movements of my 2DOF. Problem is with altplugin UDP, I got a movement. But even in simtools virtual tab movement is just too small (all axis moves just like 1mm). Can you help me with that? Thanks

    Yes, you are right :)
That's the beauty of UDP: same implementation across various platforms. I haven't tested it on XBoxOne as I don't have it, but I'm quite confident in the fact it will work. It works for sure on PC and PS4 :p

I can't seem to find the info of what to do...
SeatTime replied to my dedicated thread for this question:
    http://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/pcars-xboxone-sim-tools-motion-howto-help-im-lost.8627/

"If I remember this properly you need a scrip to also enable SimTools as it cannot tell when the game is active like it would if the game was on the same PC. Recommend you search for this in the relevant thread."

Have you done it on Ps4? I guess it will be the same.

Is this the relevant thread? or would I get more help asking on the UDP thread? http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?40113-COMPLETE-Companion-app-UDP-streaming
