    Finally I made it.. It was language setting. I changed it to English and then work perfectly.. I thought it was not that important so that I rather focused on patching and editing .XML. Now that I think of it, it was already on the FAQ list. Not only dirt rally but also some other games that I had problems with goes away with the language setting.

    On dirt rally first page, it just says v1.0 so I am not sure it is 1.03 or 1.0. Anyway I downloaded it on 06-feb. You can check the folder on a pop-up window that comes up when you click on the patch button on the game manager. It is ~~my games/dirt rally.

    Try language setting below and see if it works, then you can use Local emulator

    Control panel - language - change date, time.... - administrative - language for non-unicode programs : set English

    Slight correction this only correct for 64bit version
    32 bit you need to patch the installed directory of Dirt Rally.

    hmm this plugin wont work for me anymore and I'm not sure why. I firstly updated plugin but no tuning numbers ingame even tho it says its connected etc, then I deleted it and did it again and same thing. I then went and changed the stuff in hardware_settings_config and still no go

    Plugin used to work fine with no problems at all so I'm not sure what else to try

    désole mais prosimu nous indique de télécharger ce logiciel pour faire fonctionner leur simulateur , ils n'ont pas de logiciel développé par leurs soins !
    voyez avec eux si vous ne voulez plus voir d'acheteur de simu prosimu pour qu'ils développent leur propre logiciel

    ps : pas de traduction en anglais car je n'ai plus le choix de cette sélection dans le choix de traduction
