    Hello!

I started a project of hydraulic handbrake
I wished to do like DSD
    dsdhydhb.png
    http://www.isrtv.com/forums/topic/10762-dsd-hydraulic-handbrake-diy-project/

but it would have cost 150€...

So I decided to convert my hydraulic handbrake into a load-cell handbrake!
    the overall cost is 40€

    spring.jpg
I had to add a spring behind the load-cell in order to come back to zero value.
Without spring, the handbrake was seen as still braking by windows controller.

It very good now and I think it is finished. :cheers
Hopefully I have other sim projects awaiting me!

    Nice work @RacingMat :thumbs

From the video it seems to have good 'feel', like you would expect in a hydraulic system, does that translate well in a game?

    Thanks @noorbeast!

Yes, the feeling is good. But I'll replace the "french" damper 964382Freinamain24.jpg
by a harder damper in order to reduce the range of motion of the handle.
    It's adjustable.

It's not yet wired to be connected to PC. Probably this week-end ;)

Any hint for CSP pinout? @HoiHman @Nick Moxley

Nah never got into the Pin out of the PCB, sorry matt.

If you still need a hand i can ask around, Jon from Basherboard would 100% know for sure.

What EXACTLY do you want to know ?

Mat, Pin 2 is the sweeper from the pot so yes it reads the voltage change. I did this mod on my Fanatec Elite pedals as well. Then I switched to a Teensie ++2.0 instead when I built my button box/shifter

    Thanks guys! salut.gif

As I didn't find any spedification from Fanatec documentation,
before wiring, I'm just worried about the little mistake written in the post https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/clubsport-and-csr-elite-pedals-handbrake-diy-info.280445/
Like Historikr, I think it should be pin 2.

I'm interested in your feedback! and Jon's expert information on how to plug an analogic handbrake on the CSP V2.

Mat, use a volt/ohm meter with the board plugged in and check the pins for voltage.

    Thanks Nick!

Ok, I have had a look with the voltmeter: look.gif
    nada...

but when i check between pin 1 and 3, then the throttle adn brake are varying in windows controler...

Then I lost my throttle and I had to restart twice to get it back... but no voltage

    Really nice work. :thumbs

I have many loadcells laying around as replacement for Fanatec Break pedal.
So I have a question. In the pedal thread you wrote you need two loadcells for a Bridge.
You use only one. Does your lodcell internally consits of two?

Sorry but I never worked with loadcells.

the Fanatec Cells are only a 1/2 bridge as i understand.
