After playing AssettoCorsa any other FFB feels very fake, with pCars being the worst.
Dirt rally is pretty good (G27 here) but I can't feel when I'm losing the back of the car

    I must have a pb...
I still don't like ffb at all.
I never feel the car, and it looks like the force is inverted...
Maybe the update doesn't fix fbb properly on my computer, I don"t know...

Dirt Rally is still early access so its going to need refinement and it may just be left on PC.
So give them a chance. Even HUGE game companies need time to refine.
Codies spend nearly 4 years writing GRID2 , only because they were taking advantage of game sales for the F1 games. Not that GRID2 is a sim game, its arcady but still good to play with motion.
Pcars was developed with community support, however, I seem to understand its principle sales were going to be console. And what do most people play racing games with on console? NOT steering wheel and pedals.

    Yep
I have a T300 and I don't really see a difference exept ffb is more strong.
I think they have to re-code properly all the FBB...

@Daguru - Will do. Had a shocker on the sim this weekend, had one of those reverse midas days when everything you touch turns to shite :)

It's still in pieces, waiting for a new pot to arrive. I feel like I've lost a limb.... :p

Then my PC had some RAM issues so I've done nothing PC/Sim related all weekend... Grrrrrr.

@Blame73 I believe that list is the additions as the g27 was already supported on first release.
@Archie cheers and sorry to hear of your run of bad luck at the moment.

The list is about the wheels that were affected by the latest FFB patch. G27 is supported from d1 but its ffb hasn't been patched yet

@Blame73 To me it reads these are the added wheel support and not these are the wheels that the new FFB has been patched for.;) I might be wrong mind lol

"We’re also pleased to say we’ve included a new batch of supported wheels. If your wheel isn’t on the list don’t worry, we are continuing to work our way down the list and we’ll be adding more as DiRT Rally’s Early Access continues.

@Daguru - Finally got my Sim back online last night. Very strange one this... My pot seized, and I mean wild horses could not turn it in any direction... So I cut the wires and flung it in the bin. Anyway, I got some new POTS but then could not recall the wiring without taking the cover (Bottle top) off my remaining pot, so I pulled the pot back out of the bin and guess what... It's only blooming well works again. Spinning freely and feedback working without issue... I have no idea what happened. I suspect those "Pot Pixies" personally...

Anyway, I digress - My wheel has no FFB at all now :( I never even noticed the first time, I am getting resistance, but no FFB. I will need to play around with the settings me thinks.

On another note, I found a great feature in the Graphics Settings, you can Benchmark the Video settings which will fling a Subaru around the Welsh landscape AND Output that movement to the SIM. So strap yourself in and be a "passenger" :D

Will update again on my finding for FFB @Daguru - I am hoping to play tonight.

Hey @Daguru - Finally managed to tinker and have the following on my feedback. I find with this I get a good indication of when the front is slipping, however I cant seem to find a good value for that "snap" you feel as the wheels dig in on a skid. See what you think. I did not use the Logitech Software, closed it off.

    wheels.JPG

Also, in the high power 2010 cars my wheel will rattle a bit on the gravel. Think its my wheel though. its knocking on a bit now...

Ignore the soft lock value, I don't use it.

(EDIT: Steering Saturation: 45%. Linearity: +1)

Hi @Archie I will give your settings a try, but at the moment im using this mod from a guy of on racedepartment forum

    http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/nerve-enhanced-ffb-for-dirt-rally-0-45.6564/

it just feels so much better than the original (still had to dial it in a bit as his recommended settings was a bit strong for my taste)
this is what im running at the moment with his mod

Dirt Rally Self Aligning Torque = 70%
Strength at which wheel turns to face car momentum direction
    Wheel Friction = 70%
Resistance on the wheel caused by pressure on the wheels and surface type / angle
    Tyre Friction =70%
Resistance on the wheel caused by the level of grip on the tyres
    Suspension = 90%
Amount of vibration felt from suspension compression (surface feedback)
    Tyre Slip = 40%
Amount of vibration felt from skidding
    Collision = 100%
    Collision forces and vibration

cheers for the settings will try them later:thumbs
