That site information was last updated in 2011. There is no video of the simulator in use under load. Are you aware if it was ever completed and tested?

I tested the single prototype actuator which used cheap commercial 200w - 3200 Rpm 0.6Nm motors to 24kg dead lift - using in-game inertia - so around 144kg lift capacity with six motors - OK for what I was building (carbon fibre Rig/I'm not a 'big' person). Speed with the direct drive commercial 200w/3200 rpm motors and 5mm lead ballscrew = 260 linear mm per Sec. The design has changed a bit since then both mechanically and the electronics, with the capability to fit practically any motor/gear combination - for more weight/speed design possibilities. I'm also testing different feedback methods - rotary encoders etc and motor controllers/drivers. Eg. Just some of the motor controller/driver stuff that I am playing with - see below. Unfortunately like I said, it is still a work in progress, which I have to fit between all the other things that I do.

I have not tested anything that big yet in regards to a sim, so I will leave for others to advise.

It is hard to make a recommendation without a clear design. Have you got a more detailed plan you can post?

looking items to maintain a 100 kg matter if it is a linear actuator or DC Geared Motor Worm Drive .my idea is that it was not big. 3dof
